Justice and Revenge
There are two similar words in the English language, justice and revenge. These words are similar in the fact that they both usually consist of harming or punishing someone or something for something they have done to you or towards somebody else. This is the basics of what these two words have in common though the difference is in how they are being carried out and by whom. When “justice” is served it usually is more lawful and moral then when revenge is being done. One example of justice could be a convicted murderer having a death sentence for killing somebody. Justice usually consists of lawmen so it seems more fair, though the lawmen might even be biased themselves. Revenge is usually more sadistic in nature and tends to be more brutal. When somebody carries out a revenge they tend to be more immoral and takes things into your own hands. An example of this can be a man’s entire family is killed by a burglar and the man torture the burglar and give him as much pain as possible before he finally kills the man responsible. Justice and revenge are similar but the intentions of it are carried out differently.
